World’s First Digital Nomad Cruise 🚢

The world’s first three-year world cruise is setting sail in November 2023 and it’s set up, especially for digital nomads!

Life At Sea, the company running this, describe it as “The first reasonably priced, all-inclusive world cruise starting from only $32,998 per year that will cover over 130,000 miles across all 7 continents and 135 countries.”

If you break that down, that’s $2,750 a month, which would be close to what some people (in places with higher living costs) pay for their rent, bills and food each month, especially given the rising costs of living.  And when you add in the fact it includes medical bills too and the tax benefits- the cost isn’t too bad!

They’ve replaced the typical casino aboard cruise ships and turned it into a state-of-the-art business centre, with star link, meeting rooms and offices and all the conference equipment one might need.

Of course, there’s a fully kitted-out fitness centre and there’s even a golf simulator on board! Did I mention all your food and drinks included (even alcohol at dinner)!

So what’s the catch?

Well, the big sticking point is you have to sign up for the whole 3 years- you can’t do it for a few months or even 1 year.

So not only do you have to fork out over $90,000, you have to commit to 3 years of cruise ship life.

What if you hate it? What if you get seasick? What if the people are terrible and you’re stuck at sea with them?

With everything included and no daily chores to worry about- no grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry and no life admin of bills to pay this 3-year cruise may be someone’s dream. But most certainly someone else's nightmare.

It’s certainly unique. What do you think?
