Michelle, Chief Remote Rebel
Michelle started recruiting in 2014 and has hired across 6 continents.
In 2017, she talked a software company into a remote work policy and got it to four days a week.
Then the pandemic proved the whole thing worked, and the office called everyone back anyway. So she quit, moved to Bali, and built Remote Rebellion (RR) from scratch in 2021.
RR is now a 6-figure, fully distributed company with a team across 3 time zones and a founder who has worked from over 20 countries. Beaches, coworking spaces, boats, trains, pubs- you name it.
She’s seen this from every side: recruiter, in-house hiring manager, job seeker, and now the person running a successful global remote business, and she figured it out the hard way.
That’s why No Commute Club exists. You don’t have to figure it out on your own when someone in the room already has.
