Remote Rebellion is working with syd life to find a UI/UX Designer.

We have the brand, the tone, the essence, now we need a UI/UX designer who gets humans, not just pixels- someone who can build on our existing identity and bring corporate polish without losing human warmth.

Who you are

• Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and UI design for responsive web and iOS/Android apps

• Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup and remain calm, focused, and adapt when things change quickly (they will).

• Excellent communication — written, verbal, and cross-cultural. You have a sense of urgency and can prioritize the important tasks.

It’s a bonus if you also have:

• Experience working in AI, health tech, or regulated industries.

• Proficiency with tools like Google drive and asana project management software.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for design system implementation.

• Japanese language proficiency (not required, but helpful).

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate with our Product Manager & cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs.

• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes and dev-ready designs for web and mobile applications.

• Translate concepts into visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, adhering to design principles and brand guidelines.

• Work with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and maintain design consistency throughout the product lifecycle.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.
