Project Manager

Maxime is a Psychologist who had been working as a Project Manager in France. His dream was to combine his passion for mental health advocacy and work remotely so that he could be with his partner in Colombia.

He had taken a sabbatical from his job for 6 months to take some courses, spend time with his partner and pursue his dream. But the deadline was looming and he realised that getting a remote job was not easy. He couldn’t find genuine remote jobs in the sector he wanted and was overwhelmed with the amount of information out there! So he joined Rebellion and realised he’d been doing things all wrong!

Not only did he get the motivation and confidence he needed from Michelle and the community of Rebels, but he also got valuable insights into how to approach job applications and as a result he got the first job he interviewed for! Maxime now has the freedom to spend a few months with family in France, organising his days the way HE wants and also spending time with his partner in Colombia!

Between March 2023 and June 2023, while on sabbatical, I was looking for a new direction in my career by looking for a 100% remote position. Michelle and her team at Remote Rebellion really helped me to structure my thinking and my career plan, improve my job search skills and prepare for interviews. After 2 and a half months of completing the training modules and ongoing monitoring through the Remote Job Academy, I managed to land THE job I'd been looking for in vain for months.

The Remote Job Academy has given a new direction to my career, and therefore to my life, by giving me the freedom to work wherever I want, in a great company.
