Top 10 Work From Anywhere Companies

For many, being able to Work From Anywhere (WFA) means true freedom!

Despite the vast majority of employees saying they would prefer the freedom to choose where they work, there’s only a small percentage of companies that offer true work from anywhere.

Let’s take a look at why…

📊 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧 Complications: While Employer of Record (EOR) services like Deel & Oyster exist, they come with additional costs and administrative hurdles. Enabling employees to work from anywhere involves legal and logistical considerations.

🌐 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞 Difficulties: Communication and coordination become complex when team members are spread across different time zones and organising online team activities can be challenging.

🎯 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬: Hiring in unfamiliar markets come with their own hurdles to overcome. Recruiting talent in locations where a company might lack knowledge or presence can be challenging. Understanding local talent pools, cultural nuances, and legal aspects isn’t straightforward.

💼 𝐓𝐚𝐱 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Allowing employees to work extensively outside their country of residence can raise significant tax concerns for both the company and the employees. Different countries have varying tax laws, and prolonged work in different locations can trigger tax liabilities and compliance complexities.

I am of course in support of being able to work from anywhere, so whilst I agree there are challenges to offering work-from-anywhere jobs- there are hundreds if not thousands of organisations that DO offer this!
