About syd life

We’re rethinking preventative health. It’s ambitious, messy, and real. We move quickly. We test, learn, and build. You’ll work directly with the CEO and across product, data science, and partnerships to make things happen. This is not a support role. It’s a builder’s role.

You’ll work closely with the CEO, product, partnerships, and data science teams to translate strategy into execution, setting up systems, removing friction, and ensuring we operate like a high-performance machine.

This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, solves problems before they become problems, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

What’s in it for you?

  • Flexible and fully remote role… as long as the work is done and you are communicating well, you can work wherever you like with flexible hours

  • Global exposure - A global team that’s kind, ambitious, and deeply motivated by impact.

  • Impact- Join a mission-driven company shaping the future of preventive health.

  • High ownership and the ability to shape the company’s growth from the inside.

Who you are

  • 1-3  years of experience in operations, project management, or generalist roles at a high-growth startup — ideally in AI, digital health, or deep tech.

  • Extremely organised with an almost scary level of attention to detail. You’re a stickler for doing things right, and you spot errors before you hit send!

  • Strong execution and analytical skills — you get things done and know how to measure impact.

  • Calm, focused, and adaptive when things change quickly (they will).

  • Excellent communication — written, verbal, and cross-cultural. You have a sense of urgency and can prioritize the important tasks.

  • Start-up traits we deeply value:

    • Humility & low ego – you don’t seek credit, you seek impact.

    • Resilience & determination – you bounce back, push forward, and take ownership.

    • Raw intelligence – you’re a quick learner and think independently.

    • Curiosity – you ask great questions and keep improving things.

  • Business fluent in English (speaking, writing and listening).

  • Independent and not afraid to make mistakes (just not the same ones twice) and you’re comfortable pushing back clearly and respectfully

  • You know the secret code is 28. You’ll need this to apply.

It’s a bonus if you also have:

  • Experience working in AI, health tech, or regulated industries.

  • Background in consulting, data analytics, or systems thinking.

  • Proficiency with tools like Google drive, Figma, and asana project management software.

  • Japanese language proficiency (not required, but helpful).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, implement, and optimize internal processes across teams (product, customer success, partnerships, legal, finance).

  • Manage key projects end-to-end — from planning and stakeholder alignment to execution and delivery.

  • Support international rollouts, pilots, and launches with universities, insurers, and government partners.

  • Set up and maintain tracking systems and operational dashboards to drive accountability and clarity.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and team operations as we scale.

  • Own special projects — every week will look a little different.
